I am too emotional. I feel angry, stressed, disheartened, and hurt. Yet I feel humbled. I will take courage for I know that although life may present me with misfortune or tragedy, in Him I can find comfort and strength.

Yesterday on the lightrail I saw a man with his 2-or-so-year old daughter, who was pointing out the windows, waving at strangers and proudly squealing “Dada! Dada!”
There’s just something so endearing about seeing a grown mad playing sweetly and absolutely adoring his little girl.

Life kind of hits you hard sometimes, but it’s those times that make you realize there’s so much for you to be thankful for. In the comparison to the great difficulties others face and the adversity they overcome in their lives I have no reason right to make complaints. Highlights of my weekend:
-Eating a Burrito Azteca quesadilla that was dripping juicy and thinking about JARRK and Brian Lee in the process
-Seeing an old guy with a white beard who looked like he could be a prestigious professor smoke a CIGAR while driving next to JV and me
-Eating homemade cinnamon rolls that me brother actually made from scratch
-Laughing, right now, at the fact that half of my highlights have to do...

Maybe it’s just me, but it makes me kinda sad when I sneeze and there’s just dead silence and then some other person sneezes sometime after followed by a chorus of people saying, “BLESS YOU!” My sneezes should count for something too, dammit!
Fun fact: the release speed of a sneeze can be about 47mph and 69ft/sec…Yay for nursing! =]
I wanted to say, “It’s raining cats and dogs out!”…but then I envisioned a bunch of roadkill on the streets. =/ Not a pretty sight…oh my wild imaginings!

Woke up to that earthquake today and thought I was dreaming. Having watched part of 2012 last night and not being consious enough to control my thoughts, that wasn’t a particularly nice wake up call. =/
