I am too emotional. I feel angry, stressed, disheartened, and hurt. Yet I feel humbled. I will take courage for I know that although life may present me with misfortune or tragedy, in Him I can find comfort and strength.

I will not pass judgement. I can only pray and show compassion for the ignorant and show respect to those who are kind. 

I’ve always enjoyed going to church, but especially today it’s nice to have a place like it to reflect, be thankful, and feel free to believe that my faith will get me anywhere.

The original hipsters: my lola and lolo circa the early 1960s.  I’ve always loved looking at photos of times gone by and the albums that my lola put together did not disappoint. My lolo was into photography in his youth and to my delight I had a chance to look at albums and albums full of his photos at my lola’s house in Gerona, Tarlac. So to all you kids who don’t know what half the buttons on their DSLRs are: you can suck it! Y’all ain’t got nothing on this!

Sweet moments

Yesterday on the lightrail I saw a man with his 2-or-so-year old daughter, who was pointing out the windows, waving at strangers and proudly squealing “Dada! Dada!”

There’s just something so endearing about seeing a grown mad playing sweetly and absolutely adoring his little girl.
